Synonymous with Takeshita Dori, Harajuku (often also referenced as a style of dress) is a street where cosplayers and otaku gather on Sundays to show off their costumes and crazy fashions. Many photographers and anime/manga enthusiasts come to take pictures of the cosplayers. The streets itself is lined with any number of boutiques, fast food places, kiosks, and other shopping for teenagers and adults alike. There are occasionally festivals hosted here, which make the street even busier than it usually is.
