SHIBUYA Shibuya is one of the most popular wards in Tokyo, Japan. The name Shibuya is also used as the name of the shopping district that surrounds one of the busiest railways, Shibuya Station. The area is known as a big fashion center of Japan, particular for youths and it is a major nightlife spot. Shibuya includes many commercial and residential areas such as Harajuku, Hiroo, Higashi, Omotesandō, Ebisu and Yoyogi (and many more). FUJIWARA HIGH Fujiwara is a public high school located on the Odaiba artificial island. From most of the classrooms you can clearly see the Rainbow Bridge. This school accepts even the lowest of entrance exam scores and is thought to be a troubled school for delinquents. However, some of the top business owners have graduated from this school and the motto here is “to help all children succeed.” Despite the bad rap it gets, the faculty tries their best to uphold this motto. |

IKEBUKURO One of the main commuter hubs in the western area, the station at Ikebukuro is one of the busiest. As such, it's an attractive location for many commercial and entertainment businesses. There are many offices, shops, restaurants, and large department stores within city limits. Near the center is the statue of an owl, which has become a popular meeting area similar to the Hachiko statue located outside Shibuya station. DOSHITO UNIVERSITY Doshito University is a local Tokyo college. Graduates from Fujiwara often attend this university as well as people from all over the world (America in particular). The college is well known for its technology classes and is true to the school motto: “never quit, always strive for the top.” Students here usually live on-campus but have easy access to all Tokyo wards, the closest being the Ueno. After World War II, an open-air black market sprung up that has since evolved into a charming street market selling a range of items from fresh food and fish to clothing and times pieces. While homeless are virtually invisible elsewhere in Tokyo, a large percentage resides here, often found sleeping or communing in large numbers around the ponds of this district.
