The night sky opened up almost like a story-book before him; twinkling stars adorning its colorful pages. The soft swaying of the palm trees, the smell of the ocean filling his nostrils. It all seemed too real to be true. Standing on the point where the ocean met the sandy beach, his hands placed upon his hips. Entranced with the beautiful scenery as he gazed out at the distant main land which was accessible by boat. It was a wonder how he could have been accepted to be such an important part of something as wonderful as this. There were those moments where he was amazed by the admin of the Kingdom Hearts MMORPG. Although they worked together, he still couldn't understand how someone like that could make this world real. Tilting his head back with a carefree smile; he inhaled another breath of the sea-salt air.
It wasn't often that a moderator could take a break like this. Push away their duties and immerse themselves inside of the game they looked after so much. But he had to admit that he loved this world almost as much as his own. The water rushed against his toes and he felt a wet tingling sensation. That was until something soft and plush brushed against his toe causing him to glance down. There sat a paopou fruit; well he hadn't seen these since his first day as a moderator. Picking up the fruit, he examined it. A yellow thing with almost a green leaf hat; it was soft and plush. If he squeezed it hard enough, he was sure that it would end up bleeding sweet juices.
Lips curled into a smile; he remembered the legend from the game long ago. If one was to share this fruit with another, their lives would be intertwined forever. Taking a bite out of the fruit, the taste was divine. It was sweet and yet sour at the same time but as it went down his throat, he couldn't help but want to taste more. Ah well, there was no sense in letting it go to waste. Eating the rest of the fruit, he rested against the sandy beach and stared at the horizon. Work could wait; you could only live once and he wanted for this moment to live his life on this beach in bliss.
